ABOUT JEFF

In his early days, Jeff helped open bars and nightclubs as a manager and promoter. While he loved the hustle and bustle of being a part of new properties, he was also curious about the history, lore, and construction of world-class cocktails. After traveling widely and helping open establishments from Iowa’s prairies to California’s coasts, he decided to find new ways to incorporate regenerative practices, culinary methodologies, and forward-looking trends into original experiences. His passion for mixology and gastronomy manifests into cocktail menus that invite guests to try unique and inviting pairings of artisanal spirits.

 

In 2018, Jeff became a part of Hy-Vee, Inc.’s Helpful Smiles TV lineup as a solo, namesake show, The Beard Behind The Bar, and in 2022, The Beard Behind The Bar: Celebrity Edition. The Beard Behind the Bar has won an AMA Webisode Series award.

 

In early 2022, Jeff won Thirsty Magazine x Reyka Vodka’s running challenge, and in September of that year, he joined William Grant & Sons as a U.S. Brand Ambassador for Reyka Vodka.
